Pilikana - A Kona Inn Luau
Taking place in the heart of Kailua-Kona at the historic Kona Inn Shopping Village, the Pilikana Luau offers guests a fantastic Hawaiian luau experience, complete with cultural presentations, live entertainment and great food! Prior to the big luau dinner you can visit several activity stations that are located throughout the Shopping Village. These activity stations feature a variety of local island arts & crafts, including Polynesian tattoos, hula lessons and drumming.
Then watch two Kane performers make their way through, blowing conch shells, which signals that it's time to enter the luau grounds at the "Great Lawn." Catered by Umekes Restaurant, enjoy mouthwatering luau dishes. While feasting, enjoy live music and sip a tropical Mai Tai drink. After dinner, the Pilikana (meaning "Family Ties") will start, featuring music and dances from Hawaii and across Polynesia.
